I have been laughing a lot lately. Whenever I am having a bad day I go to Pinterest for some Pinterest humor… and it never fails me. I adore what others are saying about their own experiences with this wonderful platform.
Help, I’m on Pinterest and I Can’t Get Off…
I have done this myself. I have gone to Pinterest to look up one thing in particular and, yep, you guessed it, 5 minutes turns into 5 hours. In the meantime, I have gotten ZERO done. I know you are laughing but keep reading, it gets better.
Pinterest should include a built-in timer on their site so families can enjoy a hot meal once in awhile. Or at the very least, have a flasher up at the top reminding you to eat, sleep, or get to work.
On the bright side, husbands don’t have to worry about their wives stepping out on them because they are on Pinterest.
This is so awesome. Pinterest lets me collect things without spending any money. Hubby likes this one too.
How many of you (me included) have boards of recipes you would like to try, DIY projects you would like to start, and exercises you would like to do?
We all do! But I named my secret board “DIY projects I would like to try but will never do!” I had to be honest.
If you have any boards with less than 5 pins, just delete it. You lost interest in that subject a long time ago.
There is a Cure for That…
I know, I know… you don’t want to be cured. You enjoy your Pinterest addiction and you don’t want anything to come between you and your current love. The first step is admitting you have a problem.
Wait! what? I don’t have a problem. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
I have a solution to the ‘situation’. In order to get my work done, I have to limit my engagement on the ever popular, ever informative website we so lovingly call Pinterest.
- set a timer – There are only 24 hours in a day and you have to sleep sometime.
- only log in on days that end in ‘Y’ – Scratch that. How about only getting on a few days a week.
- change your password and forget to write it down – Nah, that may be too drastic.
Never mind to all of this. Your love of Pinterest is too great and you are not ready to break up with it. But if you made it this far you just had a good laugh AND you aren’t on Pinterest.
Don’t forget to comment below about your love/hate relationship with Pinterest. We all need to laugh once in a while.
